"Tree of Solitude"

Solitude, one of my favorite pastimes, not that I don't enjoy hanging out with customers, colleagues, friends and family, but I definitely enjoy some time alone, time to reflect on things, like this image.

I got up early to shoot a small bridge out towards Brenham, Texas, and while I was waiting for more light, I saw this. I just kind of froze when I first looked at this scene, taking a moment, a brief moment, to enjoy the beauty, the calm.
